What is Comfrey?
Comfrey Root (Symphytum officinale) – one of the best-known herbs, known to our ancestors. This 1 meter tall plant with pink-purple flowers naturally grows by streams, ponds, and in moist meadows. Comfrey was once an indispensable part of home care – it was grated and applied as a compress, which helped strengthen injuries. It is precisely because of this property that it got its name.
“Comfrey was the first tincture I ever mixed. Our grandmothers and their grandmothers already knew its value – they collected it and used it for sore knees and mobility issues. Personally, comfrey has helped me with joint problems, and I believe it can help you too.” Patrik Bundala, founder of Panakeia
